Peanut Butter Burger

Peanut Butter Burger is a tasty twist on the classic burger with a yummy peanut butter sauce. The combination is amazing and even better with bacon.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground hamburger beef 85% lean
  • 12 Slices maple flavored bacon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 Slices cheddar cheese
  • 6 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 6 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy based on your preference.  Set aside.
  2. Preheat a grill over medium heat (approximately 350-400 degrees F).
  3. Form the ground beef into 6 patties approximately ? pound each.
  4. Place on the grill over direct heat.  Season the patties with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side until the patties reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  6. Microwave the peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl on high for 30 seconds.
  7. Place the hamburger buns on the grill for approximately 1 minute to toast the buns. Remove the buns.
  8. Top each of the bottom buns with a slice of the cheddar cheese and a cooked burger patty.
  9. Then spread the warmed peanut butter on top of the patties.  Top with 2 slices of the cooked bacon and the topped bun.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
