- 6.5 oz Marshmallow Cream "fluff"
- 2 Tbs butter
- 5 Cups Cheerios Any flavor except fruity flavors.
Instructions
- Add the peanut butter, marshmallow cream and butter together in a medium sized bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes until marshmallow cream is melted and everything is very warm.
- While microwaving the other ingredients, pour 5 Cups of cheerios into a large bowl and prepare a 9x13 dish with non stick spray.
- When peanut butter mix is finished in the microwave, pour it over the cheerios and mix well with a large spoon or spatula. Spread the mix into the prepared 9x13 pan and pat it down. Set aside and allow to cool. When cooled, use a sharp knife to cut into squares.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- PRO TIP: To add a lot of zip and pizazz to your recipe, add M&M's, Reese's pieces or chopped up candy bar to your cookies!
- Use any type of Cheerios you prefer, except, I wouldn't do the fruity ones.
- Prepare your pan or use parchment paper as these may stick.
- If you can't find the marshmallow fluff, a small bag of mini marshmallows will work as well (melt in the microwave).
- Soften the marshmallow cream in the microwave for 10-20 secs to make it easier to remove from the jar.
- This is a no bake recipe, but you still have to heat things in the microwave. If you prefer not to use a microwave, heat on the stovetop until the marshmallow cream is a thick liquid.
- It's fine to substitute margarine for the butter.
- You can substitute other kinds of cereal.
