Ingredients
- 5 bartlett pears peeled, cored, and diced
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice fresh
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Place the diced pear in a saucepan over medium-high heat with the water, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover with a lid, and simmer, stirring occasionally until softened, about 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and blend with an immersion blender (or blender) until smooth and creamy. Serve warm or cold.
- Store sealed in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week. Enjoy.
