Peppermint Bark (Crazy Easy)

This peppermint bark is layered with mint-kissed semisweet and white chocolate and crushed candy canes. It's so festive and makes the perfect gift for someone special!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate bar melted
  • 12 oz white chocolate bar melted
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 cup peppermint candies crushed, divided

Instructions

  1. Line a 9x13 inch sheet tray with parchment paper that overhangs on the sides.
  2. Pour the melted semi-sweet chocolate into the pan and spread it into an even layer. Place the pan in the fridge for about ten minutes, or until the chocolate partially sets.
  3. Melt the white chocolate and stir in 1/2 cup of the chopped peppermint candies and the peppermint extract. Pour the white chocolate mixture over the partially set semi-sweet chocolate.
  4. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup crushed peppermints and allow the bark to cool completely in the fridge for about an hour, or until completely set.
  5. Once the chocolate is set, cut or break the peppermint bark into your desired size and shape pieces. Enjoy!
