Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar 200g
- 1 cup water 235ml
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over a medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Once the sugar is dissolved and the mixture begins to simmer, remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the peppermint extract.
- Let the syrup cool to room temperature (it will thicken slightly as it cools), then pour it into a cleaned glass bottle or jar.
- Store: Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
