Pepperoni Pizza Dip

Filled with pizza flavors, and topped with hot pepperoni, this Pepperoni Pizza Dip is the perfect party dip or perfect for game day. Serve with toasted baguette slices or crackers - both perfect for dipping!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 8 oz shredded Mozzarella cheese divided
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 2 oz sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • red pepper flakes if desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth. Add about 3/4 cup of the mozzarella, the sour cream, and the Italian seasoning. Mix to combine.
  3. Spread this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce over the top of the cheese dip. Top with the remaining mozzarella, the the pepperoni. Sprinkle the parmesan over the top. If desired, sprinkle a bit of red pepper flakes over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted, about 25 minutes.
  6. Serve with toasted baguette slices or crackers.
