Pepperoni Pizza Rolls Recipe
Pepperoni Pizza Rolls use crescent roll dough rolled around mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices, cut into individual portions and baked until golden. Lightly seasoned with Italian herbs, these rolls have a crisp exterior and melted cheesy filling with savory pepperoni, served warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
Ingredients
- 8 ounce crescent roll dough 1 can, Pillsbury brand, sheet
- 1 1/4 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 16 pepperoni slices
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- pizza sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Peel and unroll crescent roll dough. Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella cheese. Place pepperoni slices over top. Roll back up into a roll.
- Using a sharp knife, cut into 12 even rolls. Place onto prepared sheet. Lightly sprinkle with Italian Seasoning.
- Bake 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are lightly golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve warm with pizza sauce OR cool completely, store in airtight containers and freeze until ready to use.
