Ingredients
- 1 9- inch unbaked pie crust
- 3 eggs room temperature
- ½ cup butter softened
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg freshly grated
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Line a 9″ pie plate with an unbaked pie crust.
- Beat the eggs in a large bowl until foamy. Beat in the butter, sugar, and flour until fluffy.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Pour into the prepared crust and bake for 45-55 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely before serving.
