Perfect, Easy Ribeye Steak
This Perfect, Easy Ribeye Steak recipe focuses on searing thick-cut steaks in butter with rosemary, then finishing them in a high-temperature oven. The process creates a rich, flavorful crust and tender interior. The minimal seasoning highlights the natural beef taste.
Ingredients
- 2 16- ounce ribeye steak 1 1/2 inch thick, plural
- 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper coarse ground
- 3 rosemary sprigs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
- Add the butter to a cast iron skillet on high heat.
- Add the Kosher salt and black pepper to the steaks and add to the pan.
