Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh asparagus
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- ½ to 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat, about 450 degrees F.
- Trim ends from asparagus by snapping off the ends, or cutting with a knife.
- Place trimmed asparagus into a large mixing bowl or large gallon sized resealable plastic bag. Add in olive oil, salt, and pepper, and toss to combine until asparagus is lightly and evenly coated.
- Place asparagus directly onto the grill, perpendicular to the grill grates so they don't fall through. Grill over high heat, with the lid closed, for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve hot.
