Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 cucumber thinly sliced, medium
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns whole
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • dill fresh sprigs

Instructions

  1. Combine water, vinegar, sugar, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar and salt dissolve, about 5 minutes.
  2. Place cucumbers in a clean jar. Add mustard seeds, peppercorns, garlic, and dill sprigs.
  3. Pour the hot brine over the cucumbers, ensuring they are completely submerged. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before enjoying.
