Pigs in a Blanket Recipe
A classic appetizer for kids and adults alike, Pigs in a Blanket will be the first thing you run out of at your next party. Simply roll mini sausages in a crescent roll and bake! Dijon mustard or shredded cheese, along with coarse salt take these over the top!

Ingredients
- 8 ct refrigerated crescent rolls
- 14 oz mini cocktail weiners recommended Hillshire Lil' Smokies
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard optional
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded, optional
- 2 tbsp butter melted, optional
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt for sprinkling, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° F
- Roll out and cut each crescent roll triangle into three triangles.
- Place each mini sausage onto the larger end of each crescent roll triangle. If using dijon or cheese, spread either one on pastry before you begin rolling.
- Roll the crescent starting at the larger end and into smaller end.
- Transfer to baking sheet, brush with melted butter and salt (optional).
- Bake for 9-12 minutes or until golden brown.

- Makes 24 pigs in a blanket total. Please note that you may have a few mini sausages left over.
