Pimento cheese sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened at room temperature and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 4 oz pimento peppers drained and chopped
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper Optional
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 12 lices of bread

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all the ingredients except for the bread in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix together with a hand held mixer or by hand with a sturdy spoon until the mixture is thoroughly combined.
  3. Spoon the pimento cheese mixture onto 6 of the slices of bread and top with the remaining slices of bread.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
