Ingredients

  • 1 banana peeled and cut into thirds
  • ½ fresh pineapple
  • 1 cup fat-free french vanilla yogurt (regular or Greek)
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 ½ cups ice

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place the banana pieces into a food storage bag and pop them into the freezer for 2-3 hours. (You can do this ahead of time with multiple bananas so you're always ready to make smoothies.)
  2. Peel, core, and chop the pineapple and then add the pieces to a blender. Then add the frozen banana, yogurt, and orange juice to the blender as well. Turn to puree and blend until smooth.
  3. Add the ice and blend once more until smooth. Give the smoothie a taste and adjust the flavors to your liking with more juice or yogurt. (see note)

Notes

  • If you prefer your smoothie thicker add another 1/2 cup of ice, or if you prefer it to be thinner add a splash or two of orange juice.
