Pink Lemonade Vodka Slush
Pink Lemonade Vodka Slush is a chilled cocktail made by blending pink lemonade concentrate, vodka, and citrus soda, then freezing the mixture to create a fruity, icy drink with a balance of tartness and sparkle. It's prepped ahead for convenient serving during gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) can pink lemonade concentrate thawed (see note 1, frozen
- 2 cups vodka
- 1 (2 liter) bottle citrus soda (see note 2)
Instructions
- In an empty one-gallon ice cream pail, combine lemonade concentrate, vodka, and 2 liter bottle of soda. Chill at least 8 hours, overnight, or up to a month in advance.
- Remove from freezer 1 - 2 hours before serving. As the slush melts, it will become easier to scrape and serve.
- To serve, add 1 cup slush to a glass (a ladle works well). Top with additional soda as desired.
Notes
- Frozen pink lemonade concentrate can be swapped with regular lemonade concentrate for a different color but similar flavor.
- Recommended citrus sodas include Canfield's 50/50, Squirt, Sprite, or Fresca; diet versions are also acceptable.
- This recipe yields about 12 cups of slush, with servings consisting of 1 cup slush plus additional soda to taste.
- Store the slush in a freezer-safe, airtight container for up to a month.
- Prepare ahead by mixing and freezing up to one month prior to serving.
- If vodka is not preferred, substitute with rum or tequila in equal amounts for a variation.
