Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 10 ounces bag mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup instant pistachio pudding mix
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1-2 drops green food coloring, optional
- 4 cups Rice Krispies
- 2 ounces Dark chocolate, melted
Instructions
- In a large pot melt the butter over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted stir in the marshmallows until they have dissolved. When the marshmallow mixture is smooth add in the pistachio pudding mix, almond extract, and food coloring, mixing it until it is incorporated.
- Add in the Rice Krispies and fold them in until they are completely coated in the marshmallow mixture. Pour the Rice Krispies into a 8x8 baking pan sprayed with cooking spray. Press the Rice Krispies down into the pan with greased hands.
- Melt 2 ounces of dark chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispie treats. Let the chocolate harden before cutting them into bars.
