Pizza Dough Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 3/4 cups water lukewarm

Instructions

  1. Combine the yeast, salt, sugar, olive oil, and water in a large 6 quart bowl. Mix with a wooden spoon or use a stand mixer.
  2. Add in the flour. There is no need to knead the dough, just be sure that all the flour is mixed in well.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rise for about two hours before using or storing.
  4. After the dough rises, divide it into four pieces. Use the dough immediately or wrap in plastic to store for later use.
