Pizza Sliders
Pizza Sliders combine mini rolls topped with marinara sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese, finished with a garlic and Italian herb butter glaze. The sliders bake briefly to melt the cheese and warm the flavors, making them a convenient finger food with familiar pizza tastes. The buttery herb topping adds an extra layer of richness and aroma, enhancing the classic pepperoni pizza experience on a smaller scale.
Ingredients
- 12 slider roll , cut in half
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce , more for dipping
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded, low moisture
- 1/2 cup pepperoni about 24 thin slices, sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter melted, unsalted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning homemade
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt coarse
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy clean up.
- Place bottoms of rolls on the baking sheet. Spread marinara sauce evenly over rolls. Top with pepperoni slices, other desired toppings and mozzarella cheese.
- Place tops back onto sliders.
- Whisk together melted butter with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, black pepper and fine sea salt.
- Baste over the tops of your sliders.
- Bake, uncovered, for 7-10 minutes.
- Remove and serve immediately.
