Pomegranate Margarita

This pomegranate margarita is a festive twist to the classic margarita, perfect for Christmas and the holidays!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup tequila
  • ½ cup orange liqueur (triple sec)
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • ice
  • Garnish: margarita salt, pomegranate arils, and lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. If you'd like, salt the rim of your glass. Stir together the tequila, orange liqueur, pomegranate juice and lime juice in a small pitcher. Pour the pomegranate margarita into a glass full of ice. Garnish with lime slices, and fresh pomegranate arils.

Notes

  • Make sure to use fresh limes for the lime juice and not bottled lime juice. The flavor difference is huge. 
  • If you're making a large batch, I recommend this break resistant pitcher (and it's big!).
