Pomegranate Margarita Recipe

Get festive Southern-style this holiday season with a ruby-red Pomegranate Margarita, mixing together the Mexican staple of tequila with the sweet and fruity triple sec and pomegranate juice.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 2 ounces pomegranate juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedge and salt for the glass rim
  • pomegranate seeds for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip it into a plate of salt to create a salt rim.
  2. Add tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, pomegranate juice, and a handful of ice cubes to a shaker.
  3. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.
  4. Strain the cocktail into your prepared glass. Garnish with lime wedge and some pomegranate seeds.
