Pomegranate Martini. Stir or Shaken?
This Pomegranate Martini features a blend of pomegranate juice, vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup, served chilled without ice in the glass. The cocktail can be stirred or shaken with crushed ice before serving. Garnishes of fresh mint and lemon peel add aroma and a hint of freshness. It balances tartness and sweetness in a smooth, vibrant drink.
Ingredients
- 3 lemon squeezed, plural
- 3 cups pomegranate juice
- 2.5 cups vodka
- 1 cup simple syrup
- lemon peel strips
- mint spring
- ice crushed
- pomegranate seeds if you have them on hand, are optional.
For Simple Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
For Simple Syrup
- Bring sugar and water to a small pan and simmer until the sugar is dissolved. Chill until ready to use.
For Martini
- In a large decanter add the pomegranate juice, vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup. Stir well. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- In a martini shaker add the crushed ice and ½ per glass of the martini mix. Shake well and pour the pomegranate mix into a martini glass, with no ice.Add the spring of mint and the fine lemon’s strips.
