Ingredients

  • 28 ounces canned tomatoes
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Minute Rice
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal or cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the tomatoes and 6 cups water in a large pot and bring to a boil.
  2. In a bowl, mix the beef with the remaining ingredients and roll into small balls.
  3. Drop the meatballs into the tomato sauce.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour.
