Puffy Sidewalk Paint

This homemade puffy sidewalk paint is vibrant, fluffy, and paints smoothly on sidewalks and driveways. Hours of fun and washes away with water!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 stick sidewalk chalk crushed into powder
  • 2 cups foam shaving cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Use a microplane, zester, or cheese grater to turn the chalk into powder.
  2. In a large mixing bowl (I used one with a spout for easier pouring) whisk together the flour, water, chalk, and salt.
  3. Add shaving cream and stir until well mixed and an even color.
  4. Pour into squirt bottle.
  5. Repeat with each color.

Notes

  • For best results, use this paint right after you mix it up.
  • This recipe is made with sidewalk chalk, which is washable. For easiest clean up, I recommend washing the same day.
