Pulled Pork Nachos (Restaurant-Style)

These Pulled Pork Nachos will rival anything that you can order at a restaurant. Pulled pork, BBQ sauce, black beans, melted cheddar, and sour cream.

Ingredients

  • tortilla chips
  • 2 cups pulled pork (pre cooked and shredded)
  • 14 ounces black beans drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/2 cup Pico de Gallo
  • 3 jalapeños fresh and sliced
  • Additional Toppings (see recipe notes)
Homemade BBQ Sauce (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic 
  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1/3 cup worcetershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Tabasco sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On an oven safe baking sheet, layer tortilla chips with pulled pork, black beans, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  2. Bake just until cheese melts, it only takes a few minutes.
  3. Remove from the oven and drizzle the nachos all over with the BBQ sauce, and add fresh toppings. Serve with a side of guacamole, sour cream, and pico de Gallo.
For the Homemade BBQ Sauce:
  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, warm the vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and cook until it begins to turn golden. Add the remaining sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer about 15 minutes. Remove from heat to cool.

  • Nachos are so easy to customize thanks to the addition of toppings. There are countless options, but some of my favorite toppings for pulled pork nachos include:
