Ingredients

  • 16 oz cooked pasta
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 cup cream
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese
  • basil leaves finely chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. 
  2. Prepare the sauce; in a skillet over medium heat, add butter and onions. Once onions are translucent add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, pumpkin spice, salt and pepper to taste. Stir until fragrant.
  3. Reduce heat to low; add in cream and pumpkin puree and let simmer 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in parmesan cheese until well combined.
  5. Place the cooked pasta noodles into the skillet and garnish with freshly chopped basil leaves.
