Ingredients
- 16 oz cooked pasta
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice
- ½ cup canned pumpkin
- 1 cup cream
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese
- basil leaves finely chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Prepare the sauce; in a skillet over medium heat, add butter and onions. Once onions are translucent add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, pumpkin spice, salt and pepper to taste. Stir until fragrant.
- Reduce heat to low; add in cream and pumpkin puree and let simmer 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Place the cooked pasta noodles into the skillet and garnish with freshly chopped basil leaves.
