Pumpkin Baked Oatmeal

Pumpkin Baked Oatmeal blends old fashioned oats with pumpkin puree and warm pumpkin pie spices, then bakes until set with a golden top. The texture is hearty yet tender, complemented by toasted pecans adding crunch. This preparation makes a comforting breakfast casserole with seasonal flavor and natural sweetness enhanced by maple syrup.

Description

Pumpkin Baked Oatmeal is made by combining dry ingredients such as oats, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, and sea salt, then mixing with a wet blend of pumpkin puree, milk, maple syrup, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. The addition of toasted chopped pecans integrates a nutty texture contrast.

After combining ingredients thoroughly, the mixture is poured into a greased baking dish and baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about an hour, during which it firms up and develops a lightly golden crust. The result is a warm, moist base with creamy oats and bites of pecan.

This baked oatmeal serves well for breakfast or brunch, providing a filling start to the day with autumnal spices and pumpkin. The inclusion of nuts adds texture and richness. Optional mix-ins could vary but are not detailed here.
