  • 100 g white chocolate
  • 1 cup single cream (half half)

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a pan set over a medium heat, heat up the single cream, add the chocolate broken into pieces, and stir for the chocolate to melt.
  2. Add the milk, pumpkin puree and spices, give it a good stir, and leave it to simmer until it comes to a boil.
  3. Remove it from the heat, and transfer to a glass or mug.

Notes

  • The servings can be adjusted by clicking the number next to Servings.
  • If you don't have pumpkin puree, you can still have an indulgent pumpkin spice hot chocolate, so that's still ok, but the addition of pumpkin really makes this drink velvety and rich.
  • Adding whipped cream surely makes the hot chocolate creamier and more scrumptious, but it can be omitted without compromising the taste.
  • There is no need to add any sugar at all, since the white chocolate is sweet anyway, otherwise they drink will be way too sugary - but then, of course, it's up to you.
