Raspberry Apple Jello Salad
Raspberry Apple Jello Salad mixes raspberry gelatin with boiling water, frozen raspberries, and natural applesauce to create a fruity, gelled side dish or dessert. The combination yields a bubbly, slightly sweet chilled salad with fruit pieces suspended in the jello. This no-bake, refrigerator-set recipe is convenient for make-ahead meals or light refreshments.
Ingredients
- 3 ounces raspberry gelatin dessert regular or unsweetened based on your sugar preferences
- 1 cup water boiling
- 1 cup applesauce all natural, unsweetened
- 1 cup raspberries frozen
- To Double:
- 6 ounces raspberry gelatin dessert 2-3 oz. boxes, regular or unsweetened based on your sugar preferences
- 2 cups water boiling
- 1 ½ cups applesauce all natural, unsweetened
- 1 ½ cups raspberries frozen, 12 oz
Instructions
- Add jello mix to a serving bowl of choice.
- Add boiling water and stir until mixed. (approx 2 minutes)
- Add frozen raspberries
- Then stir in applesauce.
- Cover with plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set completely.
- ENJOY!!
Notes
- Using sugar-free raspberry gelatin dessert can reduce sugar content in the final salad.
