Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Instructions
- Add the raspberries, lemon juice, sugar, and water to a medium-sized pot.
- Cook over medium heat until it becomes thick and jammy. This will take about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Strain the coulis through a fine mesh strainer or a chinois.
- Chill the sauce until it’s cold. Serve or store.

- Make-Ahead: You can make this up to 3 days ahead of time.
- How to Store: Cover and keep in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. You can freeze this covered for up to 3 months. Thaw it in the refrigerator for 1 day before using.
- If you freeze this, you may need to reheat and cool it again.
- This is a great recipe where you can save fresh raspberries in the freezer if you will not eat them before going rancid.
