[Recipe] Batida de Níspero (Sapodilla Milkshake)

Ingredients

  • 4 nísperos (sapodilla) (peeled and cubed)
  • ¾ cup sugar (white, granulated) or equivalent sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 quart evaporated milk [1 lt] (see notes)
  • 4 cups Ice cubes

Instructions

1. Blend

  1. Combine all the ingredients (nispero, sugar, vanilla, milk, and ice) in a heavy-duty blender and blend until it's very smooth and silky.
2. Serving
  1. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use almond milk (or your preferred substitute). I hear from our readers (I haven't tried it) that coconut milk is great for this purpose.
