Red Wine Sangria Recipe
This Red Wine Sangria combines Rioja wine with blood orange liqueur, cachaça, various fruit juices, and a mix of fresh fruits like watermelon balls, raspberries, blackberries, mandarin slices, and lime slices. The mixture is chilled to meld the flavors, then served garnished with fresh basil leaves for a refreshing, fruit-forward beverage.
Ingredients
- 750 ml wine Rioja
- 3/4 cup Blood Orange Liqueur Solerno brand
- 3/4 cup cachaça Brazilian rum, Leblon brand
- 1 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup cherry juice
- 3/4 cup simple syrup sugar syrup
- 1/2 cup lime juice fresh
- 1 1/2 cups watermelon balls
- 1 cup raspberry
- 1 cup blackberry
- 2 mandarin orange sliced
- 1 lime sliced
- 1 bunch basil leaves
Instructions
- Pour all the liquid ingredients into a large pitcher and stir. Then add the fresh fruit to the pitcher.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. When ready to serve, pour in glasses and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
