- 1/2 cup of butter softened
- 1/2 cup Reese's Spreads or peanut butter of choice
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 baking soda
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
Instructions
- Pre-heat your oven to 375 °F.
- Cream together the butter and Reese's Spread until smooth and creamy. Add in the brown sugar, beat again until creamy.
- Add in the egg, followed by the vanilla and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Whisk together the dry ingredients then slowly add to the mixture, mixing until combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Press the dough evenly into a seasoned cast iron skillet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cookie's edges are browned yet the middle is slightly underdone.
- Remove and cool slightly.
- Eat while still warm, topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce if desired.
