Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter + 2 tablespoons softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups Reese's Pieces divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the peanut butter, butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  5. Stir in the semi sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup of the Reese's Pieces.
  6. Scoop the cookie dough onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet to form dough balls placed at least 2 inches apart. Use the remaining 1/2 cup of Reese's Pieces to add extra candies to the top of each cookie dough ball.
  7. Bake the cookies at 350F for 8-9 minutes until set. Remove from the oven and cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes, the transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool to room temperature.
