Restaurant Style House Salad with Creamy Parmesan Dressing

Ingredients

For the Dressing
  • ½ C mayonnaise
  • 1 C buttermilk
  • 2 C grated parmesan
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp white wine
  • 1 Tbsp tarragon
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 kalamata olive
For the Salad
  • 1 head romaine lettuce torn into small pieces
  • 1 Cup carrots very thinly sliced
  • ¼ C kalamata olives
  • 3 Pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  1. Place all the dressing ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, carrots, and olives, and toss with roughly ½ cup* of the dressing. Top with the pepperoncini and serve immediately.

Notes

  • *Use as much or as little of the dressing as you'd like; I recommend tossing with less to start then adding more as needed.
