Ingredients
- 1 (28-ounce) can whole tomatoes with juice
- 2 (10-ounce) cans Rotel
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 sliced jalapeno
- ½ teaspoon granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ cup cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
Instructions
- In a blender of a food processor combine 1 (28-ounce) can whole tomatoes with juice, 2 (10-ounce) cans Rotel, ¼ cup chopped onion, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 sliced jalapeno, ½ teaspoon granulated sugar, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon ground cumin, ½ cup cilantro, and the juice of 1 lime,.
- Pulse or blend to desired consistency.
- Refrigerate for about an hour before serving with tortilla chips.
