Restaurant Style Salsa

Little did I know how easy peasy it is to make it right at home! You take about 10 minutes out of your day and you have fresh restaurant salsa right at home!

Ingredients

  • 1 (28-ounce) can whole tomatoes with juice
  • 2 (10-ounce) cans Rotel
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic 
  • 1 sliced jalapeno
  • ½ teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ cup cilantro
  • 1 lime, juiced

  1. In a blender of a food processor combine 1 (28-ounce) can whole tomatoes with juice, 2 (10-ounce) cans Rotel, ¼ cup chopped onion, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 sliced jalapeno, ½ teaspoon granulated sugar, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon ground cumin, ½ cup cilantro, and the juice of 1 lime,.
  2. Pulse or blend to desired consistency.
  3. Refrigerate for about an hour before serving with tortilla chips.

  • *This makes a big batch! It filled my entire blender, so if you want less, you can half the recipe.
