Reuben Sliders

Use up that leftover corned beef in these easy reuben sandwiches. Layers of beef, cheese and sauerkraut top these sweet Hawaiian rolls. Reuben sliders make a great party food!

Ingredients

For the sandwiches:
  • 2 cups shredded corn beef (cooked)
  • 1 ½ cups Sauerkraut (drained)
  • 3 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 12 hawaiian sweet rolls
For the topping:
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • ¼ teaspoon beef broth base (powder)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Slice sweet rolls in the middle to create a top and bottom. Place the top to the side.
  3. Place the bottom part of the sweet rolls to an oven safe pan. Spread the thousand island dressing over the top of the bottom of the sweet rolls.
  4. Spread sauerkraut over the dressing, then top with a layer of corned beef.
  5. Place the swiss cheese evenly over the corned beef and then place the tops of the sweet rolls on top to close the sandwich.
  6. In a small pan over medium high heat, melt butter and add the remaining topping ingredients. Cook for a minute, or until butter becomes a little brown. 
  7. Brush the top of the sweet rolls with the butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the top is a beautiful golden hue.
  9. Serve.
