Rice Cooker Fried Rice

Flavor is awesome and rice is cooked perfectly. It makes a great side to any meal!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 2 cups Rice, uncooked
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • ¾ cup chopped bacon, (chicken, spam, ham, or any meat)
  • ½ small onion, diced (about ½ cup)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
  • 1 cup frozen vegetables, I used peas and carrots
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Turn on the rice cooker and select the cook mode. Add the oil, bacon, onion, and garlic. Stir frequently and heat until the onion softens.
  2. Add the rice to the rice cooker and stir to coat in the oil mixture.
  3. Stir in the frozen vegetables and beef stock.
  4. Close the lid, make sure the rice cooker is in the cook mode, and let it do its thing!
  5. When the rice is done cooking, stir in the soy sauce and serve warm!
