Roasted Cauliflower Steaks
Roasted Cauliflower Steaks are thick cauliflower slices seasoned with garlic parsley salt and avocado oil, roasted at a high temperature until tender and caramelized. Finished with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs, this recipe produces crispy edges and a soft center, delivering a flavorful vegetable dish that works as a side or main for a light meal.
Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower head
- 1 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 tbsp garlic parsley salt
- 1 tbsp parsley optional, fresh
Instructions
- Cut cauliflower into 1/2-inch thick slices. Line them up in a single layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with garlic salt and oil.
- Roast at 415°F for 20 minutes. Turn the cauliflower steaks halfway through baking time to ensure the other side gets nice and crispy.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and fresh herbs -- dill, parsley and basil work great. Serve right out of the oven and enjoy!
