Roasted Garlic Recipe
Roasted Garlic Recipe produces soft, golden garlic cloves with a mellow, sweet flavor. The garlic bulb is trimmed and drizzled with olive oil, then wrapped in foil and baked until tender. The roasted cloves can be squeezed out and mashed for use as a spread, cooking ingredient, or flavor enhancer. This preparation transforms raw garlic’s sharpness into a rich, smooth paste.
Ingredients
- 1 garlic bulb
- 2 Tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Remove the papery skin of the bulb and cut the top of the garlic bulb so the top of the cloves is exposed. Drizzle some olive oil and place them in an aluminum foil pouch.
- Place the foil pouch on a baking sheet and roast at 400 F for about 40-50 minutes, or until soft and golden.
- Once cool, squeeze out the cloves of garlic and mash them to use in recipes, or store them in an air-tight container in the fridge for a week.
