Roasted Radishes

A delicious and nutritious side dish, roasted radishes go alongside any main entrée!

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch radishes rinsed and halved
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Slice the radishes in half and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with avocado oil and sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Use your hands to toss everything together until radishes are well-coated in oil and seasoning.
  3. Turn the radishes so that they are all cut-side down.
  4. Roast 18 to 25  minutes, or until the radishes are golden-brown and have some wrinkles. Give the radishes a little shuffle half-way through (I jostle them around with a spatula after 10 minutes of baking). Note: if you'd like to add a few cloves of minced garlic, do so when the radishes have 5 to 10 minutes left in the oven.
  5. Remove radishes from the oven, allow them to cool for a few minutes, then serve!
