Rosemary Maple Spiced Roasted Nuts and Seeds
Rosemary maple spiced nuts are irresistibly tasty. They only take 20 minutes to make and you can put them into little jars for an edible Christmas gift. All the flavours work beautifully with the crunchy candied nuts.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil I used rapeseed oil
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
- 2 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 400 g (3 cups) mixed raw unsalted nuts
- 3 tablespoon mixed raw unsalted seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170C/325F. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Stir the oil, maple syrup, soy sauce, rosemary, spices and salt together in a large bowl. Add the nuts and seeds and mix well.
- Spread the coated nuts onto the prepared baking tray and bake for 18-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly darker and toasted.
- Leave to cool on the baking tray, stirring occasionally, then store in an airtight jar for up to two weeks.
