Soft citrus orange dough cookies topped with sweet orange zest cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 Tablespoons orange zest
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Sweet Orange Cream Frosting:
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- (1) ounce Pkg. Cream Cheese softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy -- about 4 minutes.
- Add eggs, sour cream, and orange zest and cream together.
- Stir in flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt.
- Chill dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll dough into balls and drop dough onto cookie sheets.
- Bake for 11-14 minutes.
- To make sweet orange cream cheese frosting:
- In medium bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Stir in powdered sugar and orange zest. Spread or pipe over cooled cookies.
- Garnish with orange zest.
