Sakura Matcha Latte

A spring flavored matcha latte made with cherry blossom syrup. Serve hot or cold.

Ingredients

  • ice
  • 1.5 oz Cherry Blossom Syrup
  • .5 oz Vanilla Syrup
  • 4 oz milk
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 2 oz hot water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Fill a pint glass with ice.
  2. Mix both syrups and the milk together. Pour into the bottom the glass.
  3. Take the matcha powder and hot water and mix them together until there are no lumps. (I like to add a little bit of the water at a time and mix it together using a matcha whisk.)
  4. Slowly pour over the top of the cherry blossom milk to layer your drink.

Notes

  • Want to make it hot? Steam your milk then add it to a mug along with the syrups. Whisk the matcha and water together as directed in the instructions, then pour over the steamed milk.
