Ingredients
- 1 pound skinless salmon fillets uncooked, cut into 1 inch pieces (leftover cooked salmon or canned salmon can also be used)
- ½ cup Panko bread crumbs plain or lemon pepper seasoned for added flavor
- 2 Tablespoons fresh chopped basil
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 large egg white
For a Salmon Burger
- 4 hamburger buns
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 8 dill pickle slices
- 4 Tomato slices
- 4 lettuce leaves
Instructions
- Mix salmon, bread crumbs, basil, and salt.
- Add egg white and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into four even parts, and form into patties. Spray a frying pan with cooking spray. Cook the patties for 3 minutes on each side over medium heat until browned on both sides.
- Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings and condiments.
