Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 pound skinless salmon fillets uncooked, cut into 1 inch pieces (leftover cooked salmon or canned salmon can also be used)
  • ½ cup Panko bread crumbs plain or lemon pepper seasoned for added flavor
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh chopped basil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 large egg white

For a Salmon Burger

  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 8 dill pickle slices
  • 4 Tomato slices
  • 4 lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Mix salmon, bread crumbs, basil, and salt.
  2. Add egg white and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into four even parts, and form into patties. Spray a frying pan with cooking spray. Cook the patties for 3 minutes on each side over medium heat until browned on both sides.
  4. Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings and condiments.
