Salsa De Aguacate (Avocado Salsa)
Salsa De Aguacate combines tomatillos, jalapeños, serrano peppers, onion, garlic, cilantro, and ripe avocado into a smooth, creamy salsa. The blend of fresh peppers and tomatillos gives brightness and mildly spicy heat balanced by the richness of avocado. This salsa offers a refreshing texture with a slight kick and is seasoned to taste with salt and black pepper.
Ingredients
- 1 pound tomatillo wash and cut in half, about 9
- 2 jalapeños cut into chunks
- 3 Serrano pepper cut into chunks
- ¼ cup onion chopped
- 1 small garlic chopped, clove
- 1 cilantro small bunch
- salt
- black pepper
- 2 avocado cut in half, peeled and remove the pit, small to medium
- ¾ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a blender or processor, add the tomatillos, jalapeños, serrano peppers, onion, garlic clove and salt. Give it a quick blend.
- Then add the cilantro and puree well.
- Add the avocado and puree until smooth. Taste for salt and add more if needed according to taste.
Notes
- Store the salsa refrigerated and consume within 4 to 5 days to maintain freshness and flavor.
