Salted Caramel Cashew Pie

SALTED CARAMEL CASHEW PIE is a rich combination of sweet and salty you'll crave!

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-baked pie crust
  • 1 Cup packed brown sugar
  • ⅓ Cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ Cups whole milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 Cup cashews chopped, plus more for decoration

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and flour in a medium saucepan
  2. Whisk in milk and egg yolks
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbling, about 5 minutes
  4. Remove from heat and stir in butter until completely melted
  5. Stir in vanilla, 1 teaspoon sea salt and 1 Cup cashews
  6. Allow to cool 5 minutes; pour into baked pie crust
  7. Cool on wire rack for 1 hour
  8. Decorate with whole cashews, if desired
  9. Cover and chill for 4 hours before serving
