Salty Sweet Caramel Pretzel Cookies

Salty Sweet Caramel Pretzel Cookies blend the crunch and saltiness of pretzels with sweet caramel bits and milk chocolate chips in a soft cookie dough. The dough is creamed with butter and sugars before adding eggs, vanilla, and optional powdered milk, then combined with dry ingredients and mix-ins. Baked until lightly golden, these cookies offer a contrast of sweet, salty, and chewy textures.

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and sugar for 4 minutes until light and fluffy. Scrape down sides of the bowl.

  4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt and stir just until combined.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips, caramel bits, and pretzels.
  6. Use Silpat or parchment paper on a baking sheet so the caramel doesn't stick to the pan. Drop dough onto baking sheet.
