Sausage Cheese Dip

This easy and flavorful cheese dip is made with savory Italian sausage and processed cheese, but it can be made with real cheese, too!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Italian sausage
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 8 ounces processed cheese loaf such as Velveeta
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Brown sausage and onion until no pink remains. Drain fat.
  2. Add processed cheese and cream cheese. Stir over medium heat until melted. Whisk in mustard powder, milk, and Worcestershire sauce and continue cooking until hot and bubbly.
  3. Stir in cheddar cheese.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips or crostini.
